Q2 2024 Performance of Top Merge Games on Unified Platform in the US

Merge games continue to captivate mobile users with their unique blend of puzzle-solving and storytelling. Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how the top five merge games performed in the second quarter of 2024 on the unified platform in the US.

Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story from Microfun Limited saw a steady increase in weekly active users, rising from 10.5M to nearly 12.3M by the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a mid-quarter peak of around 2.3M, while revenue fluctuated, ending on a high note at approximately $1.5M.

Travel Town - Merge Adventure experienced a surge in downloads mid-quarter, with a peak of nearly 2M, but ended the quarter with a decrease to 657K. Revenue remained relatively stable, with a slight uptick to just over $1M. Weekly active users showed growth, reaching a peak of 5.7M before dropping to 4.6M.

Seaside Escape®: Merge & Story, another Microfun Limited title, saw its revenue grow from $370K to $669K over the quarter. The game's downloads peaked dramatically at 3.5M in mid-May but then gradually decreased. Weekly active users more than doubled, starting at 1.9M and soaring to 5.3M.

Merge Mansion by Metacore Games Oy had a mixed performance with revenue seeing highs and lows, ending the quarter at $447K. Downloads peaked at 915K in mid-April but declined to 189K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users experienced a decline from 9.9M to 8.1M.

Alice's Dream ： Merge Games showed a decrease in downloads from 2.2M to virtually none, with weekly active users remaining relatively stable around 14M. Revenue saw a slight decline from $308K to $212K in the last reported week.
